Why must you follow an Eating Plan to get good results with the Fat Reduction treatment?

With the Eporex Targeted Fat Reduction treatment , you develop an Eating Plan in conjunction with your therapist.  The Eating Plan is designed to work in synergy with the treatment and based, as much as possible, to suit your preferences; to make it achievable.

The Targeted Fat Reduction treatment is the only Eporex treatment that requires you to do something to achieve the treatment objectives.

In order to appreciate the need for the Eating Plan it’s important to understand how the treatment is working

When we eat sugary foods they turn into glucose in the body. Glucose is the quickest source of energy for the cells in the body but when we have too much glucose it can turn into fat.  Many foods like rice, potatoes, bread and pasta contain high levels of carbohydrate. In the body, carbohydrate turns into liquid fat (fatty acid) which flows through the body.  Liquid fat, like glucose, is a source of energy for the cells in the body but if unused it will settle most easily around the thighs, buttocks and stomach as solid fat (triglycerides).

The Eporex treatments are breaking down the targeted fat and mobilising them; it is accelerating the fat burning processes and making them more available to be used as a source of energy by the cells in the body.

This means that it is essential to cut down your dietary intake of glucose and carbohydrate for a short period of time as your body will burn the fat that has been mobilised and targeted from the treatment area, with often dramatic results.

Would I not achieve the same result just doing an Atkins style diet? What’s the difference when you combine a low-carb eating plan with the EpoMeso TFR treatment?

The Atkins diet has been recently reported to be the most successful diet of all time, when all the credible, available studies were compiled and results equated. But when people diet, just like on the Atkins diet, they lose fat six times more easily from the upper parts of their body, such as the shoulders and arms, rather than from where they really want to lose fat from, typically the stomach, buttock and thighs.  The body actually burns fat six times more quickly from the upper body than the midriff area, and it store it six times more readily in the midriff area than the upper body, and so fat burning and storage is forever disproportional.

The Eporex Targeted Fat Reduction treatment is mobilising the fat from where you want to lose it from and accelerating a range of fat burning related processes, so the fat is burnt from the target area, not the upper body.  Simply following a low carb diet alone means you will lose the fat from the wrong areas.

Is it possible to lose inches but no weight after TFR treatments?

Without really following your Eating Plan, you may well lose a centimetre or two from the target area because the treatment has mobilised the target  fat in order to burn it as energy.  The problem is, if you hadn’t cut down your sugar and carbohydrate intake during the treatments, the fats would still be in your body and would again settle back as solid fat after a short period of time.  The result of the treatment depends on you to a large extent.  If you can reduce your sugar and carbohydrate intake for just a few weeks you can achieve really great results.

Are the Targeted Fat Reduction treatment results long-lasting?

When you lose weight and inches with the EpoMeso TFR treatment, it is because fat has left the body.

There is an Eating Plan with the Eporex treatment but when people diet normally, the body becomes more efficient in the way it stores fat.  As soon as these people return to their normal eating pattern after the diet, they often put the weight straight back on. This should not happen after your EpoMeso treatments as there is not a sudden change back to normal eating habits as you gradually eat more carbohydrates each week through the course.  By the end of the treatment course, you will have a greater awareness of the foods you are eating and what to avoid, for long term results.

If you should continue to eat in the same way and have the same lifestyle as you did before you had your treatments, inevitably, the fat will again, over time, build up, more typically in the midriff areas.  This would, of course, be the same after any fat reduction not just after the EpoMeso treatment.

Can I have two areas treated simultaneously for fat reduction?

You can only treat one body area (stomach, buttocks, or thighs) at a time for two reasons.

Firstly, you don’t want to dilute the ingredients used in the treatment area.  The greater the area over which the ingredients are used, the less effective they’re going to be, due to lesser amounts being used on specific fat stores and tissue.

Secondly, it’s best not to treat two areas (double treatments) to ensure safety.  The Eporex treatments release stored fats but with these fats, toxins are also released which are trapped in the fats.  Eporex utilises ingredients which help the body detoxify and deal with these toxins but you’re recommended to have one course of up to seven treatments, followed by a two week break, after which you can start another treatment course.  You may find that you have achieved, for a certain area, what you wanted to in less than seven treatments, in which case, you can continue to complete the seven treatments on another body area of concern.

My skin is particularly sensitive. Can I have Eporex treatments?

If your skin often suffers an allergic reaction to general cosmetics you may not be able to have treatments.  It is important that you discuss this with your Eporex therapist who will perform a patch test on a small, unseen area.  If you are going to have an allergic reaction to the ingredients then the skin on the tested area would become irritated, and possibly blush, within 24 hours of the test.  However, the ingredients used with Eporex are safe cosmetics which include vitamins, minerals and amino-acids and allergic reactions to the treatment are seldom seen.

I have deep expression lines on my forehead; can Eporex reduce these?

The Eporex facial treatments are introducing into the skin, ingredients that new, developing cells can utilise quickly to stimulate and repair.  They accelerate cell renewal, boost elastin and collagen production, hydrate the skin, detoxify, and improve the metabolism of the cells.

However, deep facial expression lines on the forehead and between the eyebrows are typically caused by the underlying muscles making repetitive and continual facial expressions.  This means that even though Eporex can stimulate collagen production, increase skin hydration and accelerate cell renewal, those lines will remain visible for as long as those muscles keep making the same actions.  No non-surgical treatment can promise to reduce these lines other than muscle relaxing injections, such as botox, as this works to help diminish those lines as it paralyses the muscles so they stop making the same repetitive movements.

The type of skin that will respond well to Eporex Facial Rejuvenation  treatment is aged, neglected, dehydrated skin; skin showing fine lines and wrinkles around the eyes, and wrinkles on the upper and lower cheeks.  Sign of premature aging will respond well.

The Eporex Anti-Aging Facial treatment is for younger skin and will help prevent the visible signs of aging.

I have Insulin Resistance/Adrenal/Thyroid/Hormonal Imbalances. Can I have the fat reduction treatment?

For women who are going through the menopause and other hormonal imbalances, they can often find it almost impossible to lose weight.  If you’re undertaking treatments for Targeted Fat Reduction and have been diagnosed with any of these conditions, you can still have treatments but your results may not be as good as a person with a more normal metabolism.  In order to achieve a good result, it is important that you strictly follow your Eating Plan and increase your activity levels.  The more you do the better result you can achieve.

Can a Vegan or Vegetarian follow the Targeted Fat Reduction Eating Plan?

Vegans may find it impossible to follow the Eating Plan as it will be very limiting if you don’t eat any foods from animal source

Vegetarians may also find it difficult to follow the Eating Plan but even if you can reduce your sugar and carbohydrate intake to a lesser extent, you should still achieve a result.

Vegetarians taking the Targeted Fat Reduction treatment should try to increase their activity levels to help compensate for the higher levels of carbohydrate food they might eat.

When should I start to see results from my Eporex Stretch Mark Reduction treatment?

When results are seen depends on the condition of the stretch mark/scar tissue.  If the scar is quite fresh, still with blood within the tissue, results can often be seen from the first treatment week, and they continue to advance quickly.

The longer a scar is left untreated greatly affects both the speed of response to the treatment and the result that can be ultimately achieved.  Old, white scars may respond.  Typically after treatments, although the height of the old, white scar may not change, the width of the scar can reduce and a more normal colour can come back to the tissue, making the scar less noticable.

The stretch marks here had been partly caused by a cortisal cream which had thinned the skin; they were blush and painful.  These pictures were taken before and after just a single Eporex Stretch Mark Reduction treatment.  After just one treatment there had been a huge improvement and the pain had subsided.
